So this afternoon we decided we would go and see if we could catch any fish, but instead we got to see this Eagle, and then a Moose.

It's all about the Pelicans
This is scott and dief on our way back from seeing the pelicans. Dief likes to be up on his dads legs.

Yes its summer, and look its loads of photos of dief
Here is a photo of a spider scott found when he was cleaning out a boat motor, pretty cool eh.
Here is a photo of me holding my 7lb Pike, I know I look like a child in this photo, but I was soo pumped to have finally caught a big (big for me) fish. Plus I hadnt caught anything in 3 weeks so I was very happy. Scott also showed me how to fillet it.

Fishing'
So today we didn't get up to much. Another lazy Sunday at the lodge. We did however go to the dock and try to catch a few fish. The only ones that seem to be biting this time of summer are the pike, which are mostly small, aggressive, and too small to keep.
Here's a pic of Louise (she says I don't take enough) trying to catch the mighty Pike!
The lake is starting to weed up a bit, but you can still manage to get around fairly well. We haven't really left the bay in front of the lodge in about a week now so we will see what the rest of the lake is like in the next couple of days.
Also, as Lou added the other day, I had moved our cookie barrel into the shop to keep the would be cookie monster ( Mr. Bear) away from the lodge.
Here's a short video of Dief vs. Ralph ( I call all the squirrels Ralph, I don't know why)
Sorry, it's a bit sideways, but still funny nonetheless.
Here's a pic of Dief doing what he usually does down on the dock, triumphantly guarding any piece of clothing of mine I'm not wearing.
